Most kids I know love the Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
The web site 1+1+1=1 (not sure about the math here though) has some great printable pages to be used with the book. You can download them from the website as a PDF file.
The printable pages include:
- 3 Part Cards
- 1-10 Puzzle
- Read & Write the Room Cards
- Graphing
- Tracing
- Matching Activities
The author is a homeschooler who makes these available on her site. – I had a little trouble finding the link but after a couple tries I found it. These would be great laminated and used as activities with the book. The pages have all the bright colors of the book and can be used for lots of fun games and activities. I am a SAHM/WAHM of three boys ranging in age from 16 to 32. We are working on saving enough for college at the same time as dealing with school and our older independent kids.
