School Sparks is offering a free copy of Fun Math for Young Learners. I love the content on School Sparks. They have hundreds of free kindergarten worksheets for teachers and homeschool parent (and those of us who want to expand on what our kids are learning at school).
This e-book includes a brief discussion of the five main components of any basic math program:
- Number recognition and formation
- Counting, including skip counting and “counting on”
- Pattern identification and creation
- Sorting and classifying
- Graphing
Check under Kindergarten Worksheets for more great worksheets! I keep copies printed and laminated (I’m planning to try the dry erase markers and crayons to make them reusable as a green alternative to multiple printings.)

I am a SAHM/WAHM of three boys ranging in age from 16 to 32. We are working on saving enough for college at the same time as dealing with school and our older independent kids. I author a few blogs, including http://teched4kids.com. I have in the past taught computer information technology classes for the local university and taught workshops for kid's in technology education besides being the Kentucky State FIRST LEGO League Championship Coordinator from 2005 to 2008. I now work as a computer consultant, run a handmade home business, and am available for workshops. Life here is always an adventure!
At this time it sounds like WordPress is the best blogging platform available right now. (from what I’ve read) Is that what you’re using on your blog?
